FIB Unud Explored Potential Collaboration with the School of Distance Education Universiti Sains Malaysia

Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, Universitas Udayana (FIB Unud), I Nyoman Aryawibawa, S.S., M.A., Ph.D., who was accompanied by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and Planning, Dr. I Gede Oeinada, S.S., M.Hum., and Coordinator of the Information Management and Partnership Unit (UPIKS) FIB Unud, Novita Mulyana, S.S., M.Hum., attended the online meeting invitation from the School of Distance Education Universiti Sains Malaysia (SDE USM) which will be held on Monday, March 4 2024.

 

From SDE USM, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zulnaidi Yaacob (Dean of SDE USM), Dr. Hazrul Abdul Hamid (Deputy Dean of Academic, Career and International), Dr. Sah-Hadiyatan Ismail, Dr. Kauthar Ismail (Anthropology and Sociology Program Chairperson), Dr. Norizan Kadir (History Program Chairperson), Dr. Wan Roshazli Wan Razali (Literature Program Chairperson) and Mdm. Soijah Likin (Anthropology and Sociology Programme).

USM SDE Dean, Assoc. Prof. Zulnaidi explained that the purpose of his invitation to FIB Unud was to explore the potential for collaboration that could be implemented between the agency he leads and FIB Unud.

The Dean of FIB Unud, Aryawibawa, Ph.D., on this occasion expressed his appreciation to SDE USM for considering FIB Unud as a potential collaboration partner.

In the meeting which lasted approximately one and a half hours, various forms of collaborative activities that had the potential to be implemented were discussed, ranging from student exchanges, organizing academic activities such as seminars, guest lectures, research collaborations to community engagement activities.

Both parties agreed that this initial meeting was a preliminary meeting which was expected to be followed by other follow-up meetings to discuss cooperation activities more specifically. (nm)
