FIB Unud Held Ceremony for Prospective Graduates in 159th Graduation Ceremony

The ceremony for prospective graduates was held by the Faculty of Humanities on Thursday 18 April 2024 at the Widya Sabha Mandala Auditorium, FIB UNUD, an event intended to give awards to prospective FIB Unud graduates who have excelled in the academic field. This event was attended by the dean, vice deans, coordinator study programs, head of Ikayana, Dharma Wanita and sub coordinators within the Faculty of Humanities, Universitas Udayana. The event opened with a performance of the traditional Saraswati dance created by the late I Wayan Beratha, this dance symbolizes science as a weapon to improve human life.


Vice Dean I Dr. I Gede Oeinada, S.S., M. Hum reported that 27 prospective graduates would be graduated consisting of 2 Linguistics PhD students, 3 Linguistics Masters students, 1 Cultural Studies Masters student, 7 Indonesian Literature students, 3 Old Javanese literature students, 2 English Literature students , 4 archaeology, 4 history students, 1 Cultural Anthropology student.


The announcement of the best graduates was delivered by Vice Dean III Dr.Ni Ketut Puji Astiti S.S.M.SI. The best graduates are I Dewa Dode Agus Adi Pranatha from the Indonesian Literature Study Program, I Putu Satria Prayoga from the Master of Cultural Studies Study Program, and Eka Dwi Putra from the Linguistics Doctoral Study Program.


Dean of FIB Unud, I Nyoman Aryawibawa, S.S., M.A., Ph.D. In his speech, thanked all prospective graduates for their struggle through challenges and various obstacles. The Dean also congratulated the prospective graduates who had overcome all these challenges. "The campus is like a swimming pool, which is very comfortable to use like a swimming pool in a hotel or home, when you finish your study on campus, you will swim in a real pool," added the dean, paraphrasing the Indonesian Minister of Education, Nadiem Makarim.
