Dissemination of Research Results and Socialization of 8 Undergraduate Study Programs in Makassar
The dissemination of research results and promotion of study programs at the Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University was held on February 21-24, 2026 in Makassar. This event presented the research results of lecturers and promoted eight undergraduate study programs to students at the Sadhana Parisada Hindu Dharma Indonesia Foundation in Makassar, which was then continued at SMA Negeri 21 Makassar on the following day. This program aims to disseminate academic research outputs to provide tangible benefits to the community and introduce higher education opportunities to students who wish to continue their studies at the Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University. This activity is also part of efforts to strengthen the role of higher education institutions in community service through the dissemination of knowledge.
The group was led by the Vice Dean I of the Faculty of Humanities Udayana University, Dr. I Gede Oeinada, S.S., M.Hum. He expressed his hope that this activity would strengthen cooperation between universities and the community. Through this activity, the university sought to provide access to quality educational information while broadening students' insights into study options at the Faculty of Humanities. Furthermore, this activity received a positive response from both the school and the participants. The enthusiasm of the students was evident from the active discussion and question and answer sessions during the activity.
The event was also attended by the Vice Dean II, the Head of UP2M, educational staff, and program coordinators from each study program. The Vice Dean II also conveyed the commitment of the Faculty of Humanities Udayana University, to provide educational opportunities through scholarship programs, especially for underprivileged students so that they can continue their education to university level, particularly those interested in continuing to the Faculty of Humanities Udayana University. The Head of UP2M FIB, Dr. Ngurah Indra Pradhana, S.S., M.Hum., as the person in charge of the event, expressed his appreciation to the faculty management for their support and expressed his hope that this event would increase the interest of prospective students who wish to continue their studies at the Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University in the future. This event is expected to become a sustainable agenda as an academic promotion strategy as well as a means of strengthening institutional networks in various regions.
