Welcome to the Historical Sciences Study Program, Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University. As a center for Indonesian historical education and research, we take pride in having achieved an accreditation from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT).

Our Vision and Mission Our vision is to become an excellent, independent, and culture-oriented center for Indonesian historical education and research at both national and international levels. We are on a mission to provide high-quality education that meets social demands, develop research and community service, and establish broad cooperation in the field of history.

Graduate Profile and Competencies Each of our graduates will earn the degree of Bachelor of Humanities (S.Hum.). This program is designed to produce professional historians who are critical, innovative, and capable of maintaining national integrity. Graduates are equipped with the following competencies:

1. Historical Researchers: Able to apply historical theory and methodology in research related to tourism history, biography, and regional history.
2. Archival and Documentation Experts: Skilled in utilizing archives as historical sources and conducting data gathering through oral history methods.
3. Cultural Entrepreneurs: Capable of transforming historical ideas into creative articles, books, films, and historical tourism packages.

Curriculum and Learning Experience Students undergo a minimum workload of 144 credits. Our curriculum includes diverse core and elective courses such as Historiography, Historical Methods, Regional History (Bali, NTB, NTT), and Indonesian Tourism History. Furthermore, we implement the "Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka" (MBKM) program, allowing students to participate in industrial internships or village-building projects for one semester.

Facilities and Academic Environment The learning process is supported by high-quality faculty members with Master's and Doctoral educational backgrounds who are experts in their fields. Available facilities include representative classrooms, reading rooms with up-to-date collections, health services, and student dormitories. The quality of our education is reflected in the average graduate GPA, which reaches above 3.00, along with very short job-waiting times.
