Faculty of Humanities Udayana University held an Accreditation Assessment for Bachelor of Indonesian Literature
Denpasar, December 2, 2025 – The Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Udayana University, conducted an Accreditation Assessment for the Bachelor of Indonesian Literature which took place in the Ir. Soekarno Meeting Room, Poerbatjaraka Building, 4th Floor, FIB Unud. The assessment was attended by BAN-PT assessors, the Rector represented by the Head of LPPPM, the Dean's Office, the Head of UP3M, the Coordinator of the Bachelor of Indonesian Literature, Indonesian Literature lecturers and students, as well as other invited guests. The purpose of this activity was to assess and ensure the quality of the Bachelor of Indonesian Literature so that it continues to meet the standards of BAN-PT.
The Dean of the Faculty of Humanities Udayana University, Prof. I Nyoman Aryawibawa, S.S., M.A., Ph.D, in his speech expressed his appreciation to the assessment team and all parties involved in the accreditation process. He also outlined the history of the Bachelor of Indonesian Literature stating that the establishment of the Indonesian Language and Literature Department as the embryo of the Udayana Faculty of Literature was the result of an agreement between the Nusa Tenggara Faculty Foundation, until finally this department developed into part of the Faculty of Humanities Udayana University as it is currently.
Furthermore, the Head of Research and Community Service, Prof. Dr. Ir. I Made Alit Karyawan Salain, DEA, delivered a brief overview of Udayana University as a campus that is developing in a dynamic academic climate, oriented towards quality, and currently undertaking various strategic preparations in order to achieve the status of a State-Owned Legal Entity University (PTN-BH).
Kastam Syamsi, Dr., M.Ed., as a BAN-PT assessor from Yogyakarta State University, and Dr. Heny Subandiyah, M.Hum., as a BAN-PT assessor from Surabaya State University, explained that this activity was aimed at assessing and ensuring the quality of the Bachelor of Indonesian Literature so that it would always comply with the accreditation standards set by BAN-PT. Additionally, both assessors expressed their hope for good cooperation from all members of the Faculty of Humanities Udayana University academic community to ensure the smooth running of the accreditation assessment process.
