Faculty of Humanities Udayana University held an Accreditation Assessment for the Bachelor of History
Denpasar, December 1, 2025 – The Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University held an Accreditation Assessment for the Bachelor of History which took place in the Ir. Soekarno Meeting Room, Poerbatjaraka Building, 4th Floor, Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University. The assessment process was attended by assessors from BAN-PT, the Rector represented by the Vice Rector I for Academic Affairs, the Dean's Office, the Head of UP3M, the Coordinator of theBachelor of History, lecturers and students, as well as other invited guests. This activity aims to ensure and evaluate the quality of the Bachelor of History in order to fulfil the standards required by BAN-PT.
The Dean of the Faculty of Humanities Udayana University, Prof. I Nyoman Aryawibawa, S.S., M.A., Ph.D., in his speech, expressed his appreciation to the assessment team and all parties involved in the accreditation process. He also presented a brief history of the establishment of Faculty of Humanities as the forerunner of Udayana University and hoped that the accreditation assessment process would run smoothly. Next, the speech was continued by the Vice Rector I for Academic Affairs, Prof. Ir. I Nengah Sujaya, M.Agr.Sc., Ph.D. He gave a brief overview of Udayana University, the study programs that have been accredited, and the study programs that are currently undergoing the accreditation process. He expressed his hope that Udayana University would be able to increase the number of accredited study programs in order to accelerate the process of Udayana University towards the status of a State University with Legal Entity (PTN-BH).
Dr. Abdurakhman, M.Hum, as a BAN-PT assessor from the University of Indonesia, and Prof. Dr. Yety Rochwulaningsih, M.Si, as a BAN-PT assessor from Diponegoro University, explained that Bachelor of History in every university in Indonesia have their own unique values that have the potential to be developed and digitized so that they will continue to be remembered by the community. They also expressed their hope for good cooperation from Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University to facilitate the accreditation assessment process. Through this assessment, the Faculty of Humanities at Udayana University hopes that the accreditation results will further strengthen the quality of the Bachelor of History at the national level. These efforts to improve quality are also part of the Faculty of Humanities' commitment to supporting the development of relevant, adaptive, and competitive history education.
