SMA IT Abu Bakar Yogyakarta Visited the Faculty of Humanities

On Thursday, February 5, 2026, the Faculty of Humanities Udayana University hosted a visit from SMA Islam Terpadu Abu Bakar Yogyakarta. The reception took place at the Widya Sabha Mandala Auditorium, located on the 4th floor of the IB Mantra Building, Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University. The visiting delegation comprised approximately 160 participants, including Grade XI students and student chaperones. They were warmly received by Dr. Ni Ketut Widhiarcani Matradewi, S.S., M.Hum., the Chairperson of the Learning Development and Quality Assurance Unit (UP3M) of the Faculty of Humanities Udayana University.


The visit began with remarks from Drs. Ali Sugiyanto as the representative of the SMA IT Abu Bakar Yogyakarta Committee. In his remarks, he expressed his gratitude for the opportunity provided by the Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University. He also mentioned that his party had visited various campuses previously, such as UMY, UNS, and the visit to Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University served as the final destination. In this visit, SMA IT Abu Bakar Yogyakarta chose Udayana University to gather further information regarding one of the best universities in Eastern Indonesia.


The visit continued with an overview of Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University by Dr. Ni Ketut Widhiarcani Matradewi, S.S., M.Hum. as the head of the Learning Development and Quality Assurance Unit of the Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University. She introduced the history and uniqueness of Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University as the first faculty at Udayana University which, at the time of its establishment, was a branch of Airlangga University. She also explained the facilities owned by the Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University, located at Nias campus and the Bukit Jimbaran campus. In addition, she also presented the eight study programs sheltered as well as the job prospects of these programs. Furthermore, she also explained various student organizations under Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University., such as BPMFIB, SMFIB, the associations of the eight undergraduate study programs, as well as academic and non-academic UKM.


After Presentation material regarding the Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University continued with QA sessions attended by grade XI students. One of the questions asked was about the most in-demand study programs at Faculty of Humanities in terms of prospective applicants. The visit ended with the presentation of souvenirs from SMA IT Abu Bakar Yogyakarta to Faculty of Humanities. It is hoped that this visit is able to provide insight and options to grade XI students as a preparation for choosing a university that suits their interests.
