Accreditation of the Master's Program in Linguistics, Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University

Denpasar, November 8, 2025 — The Master's Program in Linguistics, Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University, conducted accreditation through a field assessment process. The Master's Program in Linguistics Study Program is committed to improve the quality of education, research, and academic services for students and the wider community. This accreditation process is a crucial step in ensuring the sustainability of academic quality aligned with national higher education standards.

The one-day field assessment at the Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University, involved a team of assessors, namely Prof. Dr. Muhammad Rahmadi, S.S., M.Hum. and Prof. Dr. Maman Suryaman, M.Pd., who verified various aspects, including curriculum quality, lecturer competence, research performance, scientific publications, cooperation, facilities and infrastructure, and learning support facilities. The assessment team also held discussions with faculty leaders, lecturers, educational staff, alumni, and active students to ensure that every component of the institution meets accreditation standards. This assessment activity also strengthens the transparency and accountability of the Linguistics Master's Program in carrying out all aspects of the university's three implementation of duties.

The Coordinator of the Master's Program in Linguistics, Dr. Ketut Widya Purnawati, M.Hum., explained that this accreditation aims to verify the quality of education in the Master's Program in Linguistics. Obviously, this requires hard work from the academic community at the Faculty of Humanities and the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities at Udayana University, Prof. I Nyoman Aryawibawa, S.S., M.A., Ph.D., and his staff to continuously strengthen academic contributions to the development of linguistic studies, both nationally and internationally. The program is also committed to expand research collaborations and increasing the number of publications and interdisciplinary scientific activities.

The faculty appreciated the accreditation process as a manifestation of Udayana University's commitment to maintain the quality of higher education. With this accreditation, the Master's Program in Linguistics is expected to become more competitive in providing an academic environment that is excellent, innovative, and responsive to developments in science.
