FIB Unud Holds Third-Quarter Performance Achievement Evaluation Meeting
The Faculty of Humanities at Udayana University (FIB Unud) held the Third Quarter Performance Achievement Evaluation Meeting on Wednesday, October 7, 2026. The meeting was attended by the faculty leadership, heads of study programs within FIB Unud, as well as heads of units and programs under the faculty. Held in the Senate Meeting Room, Poerbatjaraka Building, the meeting was chaired by Prof. I Nyoman Aryawibawa, S.S., M.A., Ph.D., Dean of FIB Unud. The meeting discussed the faculty’s performance achievements for the Third Quarter, covering student performance, graduation, the Higher Education Educational Efficiency Rate (AEE PT), alumni, research, scientific publications, international recognition of lecturers, and various other performance indicators. Several indicators had shown good achievements, while others still required attention and follow-up.
One of the indicators highlighted during the meeting was the AEE PT. The evaluation of this indicator was related to the development of the number of active students and students who had completed their studies. As the number of students completing their studies increases, the AEE PT achievement is expected to improve. Therefore, monitoring student progress and study completion was considered an important part of supporting the faculty’s performance achievements.
The meeting also discussed issues concerning students who had not yet completed their studies and students who were difficult to contact. One of the causes was outdated contact information, such as addresses that still listed former boarding-house addresses or parents’ phone numbers that were actually being used as the students’ personal numbers. This condition made it difficult for study programs to monitor and communicate with students.
In addition, the Indonesian Literature Study Program reported difficulties related to students’ completion of their studies, particularly regarding the fulfillment of the TOEFL requirement. This issue was identified as one of the aspects that needs attention in efforts to encourage students to complete their studies on time.
In the field of research and publications, the meeting evaluated achievements in scientific publications and encouraged improvements in both the quality and quantity of lecturers’ publications. FIB Unud also encouraged greater student involvement in lecturers’ research activities so that research could provide direct benefits to the academic process and students’ thesis completion. Furthermore, strengthening research collaboration and utilizing grant schemes were also highlighted during the evaluation. Collaboration with universities and other institutions is expected to create opportunities for research development while supporting the improvement of academic quality within FIB Unud.
Through the Third Quarter Performance Achievement Evaluation Meeting, FIB Unud continues to promote regular evaluation of various faculty performance indicators. The evaluation results are expected to serve as a basis for each study program and unit to make improvements and develop strategic measures to continuously enhance the faculty’s overall performance.
