Accreditation Simulation and Self-Evaluation Report Review Workshop Held by the English Literature Program, Faculty of Humanities Udayana University

The Bachelor of English Literature at the Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University, held an Accreditation Simulation and Self-Evaluation Report  Review Workshop on May 20–21, 2026. This event was held as part of efforts to strengthen the program’s accreditation preparation and enhance understanding of the latest accreditation instruments. The event, which took place in the Priyono Room at Faculty of Humanities Udayana University attended by the Coordinator of the English Literature Program, Dr. I Gusti Ngurah Parthama, S.S., M.Hum., the Head of the Quality Assurance Bachelor of English Literature , Dr. Ni Made Ayu Widiastuti, S.S., M.Hum., and faculty members from the Bachelor of English Literature as part of their efforts to prepare for the program accreditation process. 

The workshop featured Prof. Dr. Pujiharto, M.Hum., from Gadjah Mada University, who is also a BAN-PT assessor. The event was officially opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities Udayana University, Prof. I Nyoman Aryawibawa, Ph.D. In his remarks, he emphasized the importance of institutional readiness in facing an accreditation process that is increasingly dynamic and oriented toward continuous quality improvement.

In his presentation, Prof. Pujiharto explained that the current accreditation process utilizes the SAPTO 2.0 system, which requires robust information technology support, particularly in the management of accreditation data and documents. The integration of academic, administrative, and digital documentation data is considered a crucial aspect in ensuring the smooth operation of the assessment process. Additionally, he highlighted changes to the criteria for “excellent” accreditation, which now consist of five main criteria. Therefore, the form-drafting team and the Leadership and Evaluation Team  are expected to be more meticulous in crafting narratives, providing evidence, and establishing connections between indicators to optimally meet the assessment standards.

The workshop was conducted in an interactive format, featuring simulation sessions, LED readings, and technical discussions on the preparation of accreditation documents. The participants comprising faculty members, support staff, and the accreditation team of the Bachelor of English Literature took part enthusiastically in the event to enhance their readiness for the upcoming accreditation process.
