Bachelor of English Literature's Student Achieves Success at Thailand Sea Games
I Dewa Ayu Dara Agung Laksmi Paramitha, a 2021 English Literature student, has once again achieved impressive success at the international level. Through an intensive selection and training process at the National Training Camp which she previously participated in. She was selected to join the Indonesian Women's Cricket National Team as part of preparations for the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand in December 2025. This achievement reflects Dewa Ayu Dara's dedication and high commitment to develop her potentials in competitive sports.
Dewa Ayu Dara's participation in the National Training Camp was an important opportunity to improve her technical, physical, and mental abilities. The training program was designed to prepare athletes for competition at the Southeast Asian level, while also building team cohesion and developing mature game strategies ahead of the region's biggest multi-event. During the National Training Camp, athletes went through a rigorous training schedule with the guidance of national coaches and a professional support team.
This hard work has yielded outstanding results. The Indonesian Women's Cricket Team won a silver medal and a bronze medal in cricket at the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand in 2025. This achievement demonstrates the significant progress of Indonesian cricket on the regional stage and the tangible contributions of young athletes striving to bring pride to their nation. This success also highlights the growing competitiveness of Indonesian athletes on the international level.
