Bachelor of Japanese Literature Students Faculty of Humanities Udayana University and Kwansei Gakuin University held Joint Presentation

On Friday, October 17, 2025, the Bachelor of Japanese Literature, Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University in collaboration with Kwansei Gakuin University held a Joint Presentation attended by internship students from Kwansei Gakuin University and Bachelor of Japanese Literature students from Udayana University. This activity is part of an international academic collaboration program between the two universities aimed at strengthening cultural exchange and cross-border learning experiences. The event also serves as a platform to introduce the Bachelor of Japanese Literature as one of the study programs at Udayana University focuses on the study of the Japanese language and culture.


This event was held at the Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University, Nias Campus, Denpasar. In this activity, Kwansei students presented the results of their internships at various agencies and institutions in Bali, such as LPK Lintas Negeri, The Ritz Carlton, Ametis Villa Bali, and also at Udayana University. Students from both universities also presented the results of joint research that was part of a research collaboration program between the two campuses on Disaster Mitigation Awareness among Elementary School Children in Bali. This research was conducted by visiting nine elementary schools in Bali, targeting fifth and sixth graders to assess their awareness and knowledge of disaster mitigation.


This event was a valuable opportunity for students to exchange knowledge, broaden their insights, and strengthen academic relations across countries. Through such activities, it is expected that the cooperation between Udayana University and Kwansei Gakuin University will continue and contribute positively to the development of Japanese studies in Indonesia. This activity also strengthens the position of the Faculty of Humanities at Udayana University as a strategic partner for foreign universities in research and community service. In addition, this event is clear evidence of the commitment of both universities to support the development of international education and disaster research in Bali.
