British Council Outreach Manager Visits Udayana University for Cooperation Opportunities

Udayana University, through its International Affairs Office, held a coordination meeting as part of preparations for the visit of the Director of Education and Partnership and Director of English Language Programs from the British Embassy. This activity was the first step in welcoming the official visit of representatives from the British Embassy to Udayana University, which aimed to strengthen international relations and cooperation opportunities.


The coordination meeting was held on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at the International Affairs Office of Udayana University, Agrokompleks Sudirman Campus. The event involved the KUI, the British Council, and the British Embassy, as well as the UPIKS coordinators from each faculty at Udayana University and the deans and their representatives. The discussion focused on the agenda for the visit, potential academic cooperation, and strategic collaboration between Udayana University and a number of universities in the UK. Ms. Winda Listiyani, Outreach Manager of the British Council, attended the event to facilitate the needs of Udayana University with universities in the UK through the British Embassy and the British Council.


Each faculty at Udayana University presented their cooperation with partner universities, including the UK (United Kingdom), highlighting the strengths of each faculty and the challenges of cooperation with the UK. Meanwhile, the British Council presented programs offered for future cooperation. The discussion on institutional cooperation opportunities also focused on technical coordination for the visit so that the entire series of activities could run smoothly and optimally. The involvement of deans and postgraduate leaders through the cooperation management unit is expected to strengthen cross-faculty synergy in supporting the internationalization of Udayana University.


Through this coordination meeting, Udayana University reaffirmed its commitment to continue expanding its global network and improving the quality of education, research, and human resource development. The British Embassy's visit is expected to be a strategic momentum in opening up opportunities for sustainable and mutually beneficial cooperation between Indonesia and the UK, particularly in the fields of education, research, and community service.
