Evaluating Feasibility Study of the Nyastra Mobile App, Bachelor of English Literature Research Team Holds Hilirisation FGD in Kuta

KUTA, October 1, 2026 – To ensure higher education research outcomes deliver tangible impact for the wider public, the Bachelor of English Literature research team held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on the Feasibility Study for the Hillirisation of the Nyastra Mobile Application. The event took place on Thursday (10/1/2026) at Quest Hotel Kuta, Bali.

Key stakeholders attended the FGD, including all research team members, representatives from partner organisations, and stakeholders from academia, practice, and entrepreneurship.

The event was officially opened by the Coordinator of the Bachelor of English Literature Study Program, Dr. I Gusti Ngurah Parthama. In his opening remarks, he emphasised the critical role of digital technology in preserving language, literature and culture. He expressed his hope that this research initiative would not remain purely academic, but rather provide direct practical value to the public through hilirisation and broad deployment.

During the targeted discussion session, Lead Researcher I Wayan Mulyawan presented a comprehensive overview of the feasibility study for the Nyastra Mobile App, covering technical readiness, target market potential, and long-term sustainability strategies.

Based on interactive discussions, the Nyastra Mobile Application was recognised as functionally sound and ready to serve transliterational needs for academics, students, practitioners, and the general public. Nevertheless, to ensure an optimal user experience for its upcoming nationwide release, the development team will implement several refinements. Key focus areas include optimising app installation size, improving user interface responsiveness (UI/UX), integrating onboarding tutorials, and bolstering server stability alongside user data security.

Beyond technical enhancements, the FGD formulated operational governance structures and commercialisation roadmaps. Robust backing from industry and educational partners serves as a crucial anchor for long-term content maintenance. As an immediate follow-up, the research team and partners agreed to finalise upcoming Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) and Cooperation Agreements (PKS), while scaling up promotional outreach and pilot programs across partner schools.

All feedback and strategic recommendations gathered during the FGD will serve as the primary foundation for perfecting the feasibility study document, solidifying the Nyastra Mobile App's transition toward full market adoption and societal impact.
