Faculty of Humanities held Socialization Program at SMAN 4 Singaraja

Thursday, October 9, 2025, the Faculty of Humanities held a socialization program at SMAN 4 Singaraja. The socialization was led by Prof. Dr. I Made Netra, S.S., M. Hum. Also present at the session were the coordinators of the undergraduate programs and a number of academic staff. It aims to introduce the various programs and academic opportunities available at the Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University, to high school students. This activity becomes part of Udayana University's efforts to expand the reach of higher education information to schools in North Bali. Through this activity, it is expected that students will be more motivated to continue their studies to a higher level at Udayana University.

 

The socialization team was warmly welcomed by SMAN 4 Singaraja. After being received, the socialization team was invited to conduct socialization activities divided into three classes. The atmosphere of the activity was interactive and enthusiastic. Teachers and students actively participated in question and answer session discussing the prospects of the Udayana University Faculty of Humanities graduates in the world of work. In addition, the school expressed its appreciation for the arrival of the Udayana University Faculty of Humanities team, which provided new insights into the field of humanities. This activity also strengthened the relationship between higher education and high schools in the region.

 

The students who attended the socialization event listened enthusiastically to the presentation from the socialization team. Although most of the students were already familiar with the name Universitas Udayana and its Faculty of Humanities, the presence of the socialization team made a special impression. Many students felt inspired to explore the fields of language, literature, and culture after participating in this activity. The information session also featured profiles of outstanding students and leading research achievements from the Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University. Through real-life examples, students were able to understand the opportunities for self-development in the academic and professional world. The enthusiasm of the participants demonstrated the high level of interest in the study programs offered by the Faculty of Humanities.

 

They learned a lot of information about the Faculty of Humanities. This socialization also reminded students of the cultural potential of North Bali, which can be studied deeply at the Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University. In addition to introducing academic aspects, this activity also emphasized the importance of preserving cultural values in the era of globalization. Students were encouraged to understand that the Faculty of Humanities does not only focus on theory, but also on real cultural practices. This makes the Faculty of Humanities at Udayana University to become one of the faculties that is relevant to the future needs based on local wisdom.
