Faculty of Humanities Udayana University held a Community Service on the 67th and 44th BKFIB Anniversary in 2025
On Tuesday, September23, 2025, the Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University held a community service event as part of the 67th anniversary of the Faculty of Humanities and the 44th anniversary of the Bamboo School in 2025. This event was held at the Bamboo School, Kuta District, Badung Regency. The event was symbolically opened by the Vice Dean I of Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University, Dr. I Gede Oeinada, S.S., M.Hum. with the handover of donations to Bamboo School, accompanied by the Chairman of the BKFIB 2025 Committee, Vice Chairman of the Faculty of Humanities Student Senate, and Chairman of the Faculty of Humanities Student Organization. The purpose of this activity was to assist the children at Bamboo School in the form of teaching.
The activity began with the committee departing from the Faculty of Humanities campus at Denpasar to Bamboo School located in Kuta, Badung. The event was officially opened with a speech from the Chairman of the BKFIB 2025 Committee, I Putu Gede Lion Ojasvin Putra Barata. In his speech, he conveyed the purpose of this community service was to provide an opportunity for students to lend a hand in helping the children at Bamboo School in the form of teaching. Next, a speech was delivered by the Vice Dean I of the Faculty of Humanities, Dr. I Gede Oeinada, S.S., M.Hum. He expressed his gratitude to the entire committee and Bamboo School for providing a venue for the community service activities as part of the 67th anniversary of the Faculty of Humanities and the 44th anniversary of BKFIB. He hopes that the community service activity will give benefit to Bamboo School.
Representatives from Bamboo School expressed their gratitude in their speech for the Faculty of Humanities choosing Bamboo School as the venue for the event. Following the speech, donations were presented to Bamboo School by the Vice Dean I of Faculty of Humanities, Dr. I Gede Oeinada, S.S., M.Hum. accompanied by the Chairman of the BKFIB 2025 Committee, Dr. Ni Made Ayu Widiastuti, S.S., M.Hum., the Vice Chairman of the Faculty of Humanities Student Senate, and the Chairman of the Faculty of Humanities Student Organization. The event continued with the committee teaching the children at Bamboo School about English. The topic taught was the pronunciation of the English alphabet. The children at Bamboo School actively participated in writing, reading, listening, students were enthusiastic and excited while learning through mini games. At the end of the learning session, prizes were given to each child who had participated in the learning activity. Gratitude was also expressed for the learning experience and prizes provided by the committee members.
