Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University Holds Fun Walk, Blood Donation, and Various Exciting Competitions for the 68th Anniversary and BK's 45th Anniversary
As part of the celebration for the 68th Anniversary and the 45th BK, the Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University held a *fun walk*, a blood donation activity, and various competitions on Monday, September 28 at the Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University campus on Jalan Pulau Nias. The event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University, the vice deans, lecturers, education personnel, and new students of the Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University.
In his remarks, the Head of the BKFIB Committee, Rudi Sugiarta, expressed his hope that all participants could follow the event in an orderly and enthusiastic manner. He also emphasized the importance of this activity as a means to strengthen a sense of togetherness within the environment of the Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University. Furthermore, he expressed his appreciation and gratitude to all committee members and new students who actively participated.
The agenda then proceeded with remarks and the official opening of all series of activities by the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University, Prof. I Nyoman Aryawibawa, S.S., M.A., Ph.D. In his remarks, he conveyed that this activity is very important and beneficial in maintaining health and happiness through joint sports activities. He also appreciated the support of various parties, ranging from the committee team, students, lecturers, to the leadership ranks who worked hard to make the event a success. Closing his remarks with great enthusiasm, he invited all participants to start the activity and symbolically cut the ribbon in front of the exit gate of FIB Unud as a sign of the start of the fun walk route.
The group of fun walk participants then undertook a tour route starting from the Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University campus on Jalan Pulau Nias, passing through several main roads around the campus area, and ending back at the finish line of the FIB Unud campus. Upon returning to the campus, the agenda continued with fun aerobics in the front yard, which was followed enthusiastically by all participants. Following that was the moment most awaited by the participants, namely the distribution of door prizes. This door prize session was very lively as it provided many attractive prizes, with the grand prizes being a refrigerator and a television contested by students and lecturers.
In addition to outdoor activities, the series of events was also filled with a social blood donation action in cooperation with PMI. The registration process, waiting rooms, and blood donation rooms were centralized at the Dr. R. Goris Building, which was orderly followed by donors. The excitement peaked during the day through various exciting inter-study program competitions. Interestingly, these competitions were not only joined by students, but also livened up by the active participation of lecturers and education personnel in various types of competitions such as rubber band relay, sarong relay, eel catching, and nail-in-the-bottle competition. This series of activities not only served merely as a medium for recreation and health, but also successfully strengthened the bonds of kinship and solidarity among members of the Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University.
