Faculty of Humanities Udayana University Releases 23 Graduates in the 174th Period
On Thursday, February 26, 2026, the Farewell Ceremony for Graduates of the Faculty of Humanities Udayana University for the 174th period was held offline at the Widya Sabha Mandala Auditorium, 3rd Floor of the IB Mantra Building. This farewell ceremony was attended by the decanate ranks, the chair and secretary of the Faculty of Humanities’ Senate, all coordinators of the Bachelor's, Magister's, and Doctoral programs at Faculty of Humanities Udayana University, all Unit Coordinators, and the 23 prospective graduates.
Commencing the event, Dr. I Gede Oeinada, S.S., M.Hum., as the Vice Dean I for Academic and Planning Affairs, presented the details of the prospective graduates being released today. In his report, there were 23 prospective graduates consisting of 1 student from the Doctoral Program in Cultural Studies, 1 student from the Master's Program in Linguistics, 1 student from the Master's Program in Cultural Studies, 4 students from English Literature, 2 students from Archaeology, 4 students from History, 5 students from Cultural Anthropology, and 5 students from Japanese Literature. Furthermore, he informed the details that 1 Doctoral program student successfully graduated with a "Very Satisfactory" predicate, 1 female Magister's program student achieved a "With Honors / Cumlaude" predicate, 1 male Magister's program student achieved a "Very Satisfactory" predicate, 7 male Bachelor's program students achieved a "Very Satisfactory" predicate, 8 female Bachelor's program students achieved a "Very Satisfactory" predicate, 4 male Bachelor's program students achieved a "Satisfactory" predicate, and 1 female Bachelor's program student achieved a "Satisfactory" predicate.
The details of the prospective graduates information then continued by Dr. Ni Ketut Puji Astiti Laksmi, S.S., M.Si., as the Vice Dean III for Student Affairs and Information, announced the best graduates from each program level. The title of the best graduate for the bachelor's program was awarded to Nyoman Dinda Prapti Dwijayanthi, S.S., from the English Literature study program, followed by Anak Agung Istri Candrawati, S.Kom., S.S., M.Si., from the Master's Program in Cultural Studies, and Dr. Ida Bagus Gede Paramita, S.S., M.Si., from the Doctoral Program in Cultural Studies.
Nyoman Dinda Prapti Dwijayanthi, S.S., the representative of all Faculty of Humanities prospective graduates, expressed her gratitude for the guidance of the whole academic community during their studies. She highlighted how various academic challenges have successfully shaped the students into more disciplined, critical, and responsible individuals. Besides expressing her hope that the Faculty of Humanities Udayana University continues to advance and remain adaptive to the times, she also advised her peers to keep developing themselves.
At the end of the event, Prof. I Nyoman Aryawibawa, S.S., M.A., Ph.D., as the Dean of Faculty of Humanities Udayana University, imparted essential hopes and guidance for the future success of the graduates. He emphasized two main foundations for the graduates: first, the importance of combining hard work and perseverance by setting clear goals, remaining focused, being patient, and never giving up despite facing difficult realities in realizing their objectives. Second, he encouraged the graduates to continue chasing their passions, while instilling in them a complete belief in themselves that they are capable of achieving all their dreams, with the constant prayers of their parents.
