FIB Unud Organized The Alumni Seminar in Commemoration of the 159th Graduation Ceremony

Faculty of Humanities Unud held the alumni seminar in commemoration of the 159th graduation ceremony on Wednesday, April 17 2024 at the Widya Saba Mandala auditorium, FIB Unud. This event is a routine event held every graduation to provide motivation to FIB graduates. At this 159th graduation ceremony, FIB Unud invited alumni of Balinese Literature and Master of Linguistics Ida Wayan Eka Werdi Putra, S.S, M.Hum. Apart from alumni, FIB Unud also invited students from three students at undergraduate to doctoral levels to present their research results. FIB Unud S1 level invited I Dewa Dode Agus Pranatha from the Indonesian Literature Study Program, Master's level I Putu Satria Prayoga from the Cultural Studies Study Program, Doctoral level Eka Dwi Putra from the Lingusitics Doctoral Study Program.

This Alumni Seminar was opened by the Dean of FIB Unud, I Nyoman Aryawibawa, S.S., M.A., Ph.D. then continued with the alumni seminar moderated by English Literature Study Program lecturer, I Komang Sumaryana, S.S., M.Hum.

In the paper presentation session, I Dewa Dode Agus Pranatha presented research on the Conflict of Author Characters in the short story collection Tak Ada Asu di Antara Kita by Joko Pinurbo, Putu Satria Prayoga presented on the Industrialization of Bali United FC and its Implications for the Lives of Balinese People, Eka Dwi Putra presented on Teacher and Student Speech Acts in Indonesian Language Learning at Bilingual Schools in Bali.

Dean of FIB Unud, I Nyoman Aryawibawa, S.S., M.A., Ph.D. in his opening speech conveyed the need for optimism from FIB Unud alumni to achieve a bright future and contribute to the advancement of science.  (gfp)
