FoH Unud Accepts the Invitation to the Universiti Malaysia Sarawak Online Meeting to Discuss Collaboration Plans

On Tuesday, July 2 2024, the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University (FoH Unud), I Nyoman Aryawibawa, S.S., M.A., Ph.D., accepted an invitation to a meeting from Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (Unimas) which was held online via the Zoom Meeting application. The Dean of FoH Unud was present accompanied by the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Planning, the Coordinator of the Cultural Anthropology Study Program, and the Coordinator of the Information Management and Cooperation Unit of FoH Unud.

 

From the Unimas side, the meeting was attended by the Head of the Strategic and Global Partnership Unit, Boniface Paul Banta, and his staff. Also present was the Coordinator of the Unud International Affairs Office (KUI), Putu Ayu Asty Senja Pratiwi, S.S, M.Hum, Ph.D. who on that occasion guided the discussion between the two parties.

 

Starting the meeting, the Head of the Strategic and Global Partnership Unit, Boniface Paul Banta, stated that the purpose of the meeting invitation he sent was to discuss the proposal for cooperation in the form of student exchanges because one of the Unimas students was interested in studying for one semester in the Cultural Anthropology study program at FoH Unud.

 

Responding to the proposal from Unimas, the Dean of FIB Unud, I Nyoman Aryawibawa, S.S., M.A., Ph.D., stated that in principle FoH Unud was happy to accept exchange students from Unimas.

 

"In principle, we are happy to accept students from Unimas to study in one of our study programs, the Cultural Anthropology study program. It's an honor for us," said Aryawibawa, Ph.D.

 

During the meeting, both parties agreed to draft a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) required for the administration process of student exchange activities to be carried out. (nm)
