FoH Unud Held 2024 Outstanding Student Selection
The Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University (FoH Unud) held a faculty level Outstanding Student Selection activity on Friday, June 14 2024 at the Ir. Soekarno Room FoH Unud.
According to the chairman of the committee, Ngurah Indra Pradhana, S.S., M.Hum., this faculty level outstanding student selection was held to realize the annual routine program for student affairs at FoH Unud in attracting outstanding students. He also stated that the main goal was to foster student solidarity and sportsmanship in demonstrating achievements.
"The main aim of holding this activity is as an opportunity to foster student solidarity and sportsmanship in showing their individual achievements. Through this activity, students will become more familiar with the characteristics of students between study programs and will be able to show their identity as study program representatives to other students without being accompanied by their own egos," said Indra Pradhana, M.Hum.
This selection was participated by students from 2 classes, namely the class of 2022 and the class of 2023, who were the representatives of eight undergraduate study programs at FoH Unud.
In this activity, each student representing the study program showed superior achievements in the form of achievements they had achieved, organizational experience, and social activities they had carried out by showing their portfolio and grade transcripts. Apart from that, students are also required to write a paper with a creative idea and present it to the jury. In addition, English language skills are also an important assessment component in the 2024 FoH outstanding student selection. The composition of the assessment for each field is 50% superior achievement, 30% creative ideas, and 20% English language skills.
Based on the jury's assessment, the winner of the 2024 FoH Unud Outstanding Student Selection are:
Class of 2022
1st Place: I Putu GedeWahyu Hermawan from the Ancient Javanese Literature Study Program
2nd Place: I Putu Edwin Wahyu Saputra from the Japanese Literature Study Program
3rd place: Devy Selpia from the Indonesian Literature Study Program
Class of 2023
1st Place: I Nyoman Gede Adrian Dharma Kusuma Narendra from the Japanese Literature Study Program
2nd Place: Dian Pancawati from the Indonesian Literature Study Program
3rd place: Naina Qurrataa'yun from the Cultural Anthropology Study Program
The winner of 1st place in the 2024 FoH Unud Outstanding Student Selection will be the representative of FoH Unud in the selection at the Udayana University level. (nm)
