History Study Program FIB Unud Received a Visit from the History Education Study Program FKIP Universitas Lambung Mangkurat

History Study Program Faculty of Humanities Unud received a visit from the History Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Lambung Mangkurat . The visit which took place on June 24 2024 was a series of Field Lecture Practice activities.



ULM team was warmly received in Sukarno Room. On this occasion, the guests who attended consisted of five lecturers and dozens of students from the History Education Study Program, FKIP, Universitas Lambung Mangkurat.



The event took place in a family atmosphere, guided by I Kadek Surya Jayadi, S.S., M.A. The series of began with a speech from the coordinator of the FIB Unud History Study Program, Anak Agung Inten Asmariati, S.S., M.Si., who in her speech talked a lot about the achievements of Unud History Study Program. In her speech, she also expressed her hope that this meeting could become a mutually beneficial collaboration in the future.



The same thing was also conveyed by representatives from the History Study Program, FKIP, Universitas Lambung Mangkurat, Wisnu Subroto, S.S., M.A. In his speech, he stated that History Science must collaborate with History Education. Bali has many cultural treasures that are very interesting to elaborate on as historical teaching materials.



The meeting was also filled with public lectures regarding historical sites in Bali given by Dr. Ida Bagus Gede Putra, M. Hum. The lecture succeeded in sparking discussion among Universitas Lambung Mangkurat students. The discussions that emerged included tolerance in Bali from a historical perspective, the dynamics of relations between Bali & Kalimantan from a historical perspective, and other questions.



The meeting ended with a visit to the Unud Lontar Unit, guided by I Kadek Surya Jayadi, S.S., M.A., I Nyoman Suwana, S.S., M.Hum. & Ida Bagus Anom Wisnu Pujana, S.S. The explanation regarding the treasures of Balinese manuscripts succeeded in attracting the attention of lecturers and students from Universitas Lambung Mangkurat. The atmosphere became more interactive when they were given the opportunity to try writing directly on palm leaves. "We are amazed that Bali is still faithful in maintaining its literary heritage," said Sri Wati, M.Pd, one of the accompanying lecturers from ULM.
