The theoretical findings in this research are that the design of culture-based teaching materials and storynomics communication strategies in learning English for tour guides can help overcome problems in the learning process to improve students' speaking skills. Cultural knowledge is an important element that students must master in developing speaking skills in the field of tour guiding. The story being told can be described in terms of form and function so that cultural values can still be accepted by the listener. The practical findings in this research are a culture-based textbook used in learning English in the field of tour guides.
Prof. Dr. I Nengah Sudipa, M.A. as the promoter said that psycholinguistically, an arrangement will be successful if there are 3 elements, namely propensity, language faculty and also access.
