Marcellino from the Bachelor of English Literature Acheives the First Winner in the 2026 Cakra Buana Wushu National Championship

Athletes from the Udayana University Wushu Club once again achieved a proud accomplishment in the 2026 Cakra Buana Wushu National Championship, Malang City Kadisporapar Cup, which took place at the Malang Creative Center (MCC), Malang City, East Java, on January 8-11, 2026. This national championship was participated in by the best wushu athletes from various provinces in Indonesia and is one of the most prestigious competitions in the national wushu sports calendar. Fierce competition and high-quality matches characterized the entire championship series.

One of the athletes who performed brilliantly was Marcellino B. Hambur, a student year 2022 of the Bachelor of English Literature Udayana University. He showed outstanding performance with mature technique, strength, and consistent accuracy of movement from the preliminary round to the final. Thanks to optimal preparation and a strong competitive spirit, Marcellino was able to compete with senior athletes from various regions. His performance earned high praise from the judges and spectators who packed the competition arena.

In this championship, Marcellino B. Hambur won 1st in the Senior Men's Nan Quan Class and also 1st winner in the Senior Men's Nandao Class. These two gold medals are proof of the quality and dedication of the Udayana University Wushu Club athletes at the national level. This achievement not only brings honor to the individual and the Wushu Club, but also brings pride to the Bachelor of English Literature and Udayana University as a whole.
