Meeting between the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University and Erik Elgh from Uppsala University to Discuss Postdoctoral Program

On Monday, September 22, 2025, the Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University held a meeting with Erik Elgh from Uppsala University. The meeting was attended by the Dean of Faculty of Humanities, Prof. I Nyoman Arya Wibawa, S.S., M.A., Ph.D., Vice Dean I of Faculty of Humanities, Dr. I Gede Oeinada, S.S., M.Hum. and Coordinator of Doctoral Program in Linguistics, Faculty of Humanities, Prof. Drs. I Ketut Artawa. M.S., Ph.D. The main agenda discussed Erik's plan to pursue a Postdoctoral program in the Linguistics Doctoral Program Study at the Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University. This meeting also became a forum to explore broader cooperation between the two universities. The presence of this international academic strengthens the position of the Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University as a global center for cultural studies.


On this occasion, Erik Elgh expressed his interest in deepening his knowledge of linguistics through the Postdoctoral Program at the Faculty of Humanities. Erik's presence as a researcher is expected to enrich academic insights and open up opportunities for cross-university collaboration. The Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University, welcome this desire as part of strengthening the faculty's international network. Erik's postdoctoral program will be a research collaboration. The program will last for one year, from September 20, 2025, to September 19, 2026.
