Organization, Communication, and Culture become New Features of LKMM-TD 2025 Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University

Denpasar, September 16–17, 2025 – The Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University, successfully held the 2025 LKMM-TD at the Ksirarnawa Building, Taman Werdhi Budaya Art Center, Denpasar. This two-day event was attended by new students from various study programs within the Faculty of Humanities. This year, the LKMM-TD FIB took the theme “Developing Cultural Skills and Interests within Organizations,” with the sub-theme “Realizing Culture as a Unifying Force in Organizations.”


On the first day, the opening session was held with a number of speeches, namely from the Deputy of the Committee, Ida Bagus Dwika Sudharcana Manuaba, the Chair of the Faculty of Humanities Student Senate, I Nyoman Trikasudha Gamayana, and the Vice Dean III of Faculty of Humanities, Dr. Ni Ketut Puji Astiti Laksmi, S.S., M.SI, who also opened the event with a symbolic kayon planting. The speeches emphasized the importance of equipping new students with management skills so that they are ready to contribute to student organizations and the academic world.


After the opening, the event continued with three sessions of material presentations. The first and second materials were guided by moderator Gustaf Nafi Isbat, while the third material was moderated by Ni Putu Elvira Indriyani. The first speaker, Ricardo Constantio Elim, discussed Introduction to Organization and Leadership. The second speaker, Rakka Firdaus Octavian Polin, discussed Decision Making and Problem Solving, and the third speaker, Gede Budarsa, S.Sos., M.Si, discussed Critical Thinking in an Era of Cultural Crisis. All three presentations were followed by interactive discussion sessions, Question and Answer sessions, and summary assignments for participants.


On the second day, the event opened with a presentation by Ardi Nugraha on the importance of Effective Communication. The event continued with a dialogue initiated by SMFIB and BPMFIB, as well as speeches from each Student Association of the Study Programs at the Faculty of Humanities. This aims to increase new students' love for the Faculty of Humanities and foster a sense of pride in their own Study Programs. Participants then presented the results of their assignments in the form of infographic presentations by each group, showcasing their creativity and understanding of the organizations within the Faculty of Humanities.


At the closing ceremony of LKMM-TD Faculty of Humanities 2025, the Chairman of the Organizing Committee, I Gede Sandika Arya Guna, delivered his report stating that the LKMM-TD Faculty of Humanities 2025 event was prepared for about three months with 135 committee members. The Chairman of the SMFIB expressed appreciation for the hard work of the committee and all parties who assisted in the event. The Vice Dean III of Faculty of Humanities also appreciated the enthusiasm and spirit of all new students who participated in the 2025 FIB LKMM-TD series. She officially closed the event by revoking the kayon. The event was filled with the committee video screening and ended with the presentation of awards for the best categories for the best participants, the best cluster, and the best cluster infographics.


The LKMM-TD 2025 becomes a platform for the personal development of new Faculty of Humanities' students in building effective management, leadership, and communication skills. This activity aims for students to be more actively involved in student organizations and within the academic sphere. The two-day event ran smoothly thanks to the support of the organizing committee, speakers, moderators, and all participants who enthusiastically followed each activities.
