Signing of Cooperation Agreement Between Udayana University and the Faculty of Humanities with the Indonesian Institute of the Arts Bali

The Faculty of Humanities at Udayana University attended the signing ceremony for the Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation Agreement between Udayana University and the Indonesian Institute of the Arts Bali, which took place on Monday, May 11, 2026. The event took place in the Rector’s Meeting Room, 1st Floor of the Graduate School Building, Sudirman Campus, Denpasar, and was attended by senior officials from both institutions, including the Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation, and Information, the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, the Acting Head of the Academic, Cooperation and Public Relations the Coordinator of the Doctoral Program in Cultural Studies, and the Coordinator of the Unit of Information Services and Cooperation of the Faculty of Humanities.

The event began with opening remarks from the Rector of Udayana University, Prof. Ir. I Ketut Sudarsana, ST., Ph.D., as well as remarks from the Rector of the Bali Institute of the Arts, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Adnyana, Sn., M.Sn. In their remarks, the two institutional leaders emphasized the importance of strengthening synergy among higher education institutions to support the development of education, research, and community service in Bali and Indonesia.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by the Rector of Udayana University and the Rector of the Indonesian Institute of the Arts Bali as a demonstration of their shared commitment to expanding academic and institutional collaboration networks. This partnership is expected to serve as a foundation for the implementation of various strategic programs that support the improvement of higher education quality and the development of human resources in the fields of culture and the arts.

In addition, the signing of  Cooperation Agreement was also signed between the Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University and the Postgraduate Program of ISI Bali. The Cooperation Agreement was signed by the Dean of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences at Udayana University, Prof. I Nyoman Aryawibawa, S.S., M.A., Ph.D., together with the Director of the Postgraduate Program ISI Bali, Nyoman Dewi Pebriyani, ST., M.A., Ph.D. This collaboration is expected to foster joint academic activities, such as collaborative research, seminars, faculty exchanges, and the sustainable development of cultural and artistic studies.

The event continued with the handing over of souvenirs and social gathering among the attendees. A warm atmosphere symbolizing the close cooperative relationship between Udayana University and the Indonesian Institute of the Arts Bali. Through the signing of this Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation Agreement, it is hoped that increasingly productive collaboration will emerge, making a tangible contribution to the development of higher education, the arts, and culture in Bali.
