Standardizing Partnership Documents, Faculty of Humanities Udayana University Organizes Cooperation Agreement Compiling

The Information and Cooperation Management Unit of the Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University organized a workshop entitled "Penyusunan Perjanjian Kerjasama" on Tuesday, August 8, 2026. Held in the Prof. Dr. Prijono Meeting Room, 4th Floor of the R.M. Ng. Poerbatjaraka Building. The activity was attended by Cooperation Persons in Charge (PICs) and PICs of Training at both the faculty and study program levels, along with the UPIKS coordinator. The event aimed to standardize the drafting of Cooperation Agreement (PKS) documents in accordance with the university's latest legal procedures to optimize the achievement of Key Performance Indicator (IKU) 5 and internationalization.

The Coordinator of UPIKS, Dr. I Gusti Agung Istri Aryani, S.S., M.Hum., emphasized the new procedures for drafting and submitting partnership documents, which have been mandatory since January 2026. Every draft of the Udayana University Cooperation Agreement (PKS) must now undergo a review phase by the Udayana University Legal Affairs Office, submitted through the SIRAISA system. The document is also required to confirm to the university's template if acts as the first party, wherein the signing will be carried out directly by the Dean using the official numbering system prepared by the Administration Division of Faculty of Humanities. In addition, the presentation specifically highlighted the need to diversify partnership activities to prevent the institution from over-relying on student internship programs. Study programs within the Faculty of Humanities, including the Bachelor of English Literature are encouraged to establish broader strategic collaborations, such as joint research, curriculum alignment, and industrial training. All achievements from these partnership activities must be documented and reported to UPIKS as the output of IKU 5, as has been implemented through the publication of Q1 and Q2 indexed articles, book publications, and Intellectual Property Rights (HKI) registrations by several study programs.

Through the execution of this workshop, it is expected that all cooperation managers at both the faculty and study program levels can design more strategic, impactful, and sustainable partnerships with various external parties. Moving forward, these various cooperation initiatives are expected to produce concrete outputs, whether in the form of scientific papers, applied works, or artworks, that not only optimize the achievement of the university's internationalization, IKU and IKU 5, but also provide solutions to actual problems faced by partners and the broader community.
