The 176th Release of Prospective Graduates at the Faculty of Humanities
The Faculty of Humanities of Universitas Udayana held the 176th release of Prospective Graduates at Widya Sabha Mandala Auditorium on July 2, 2026. This ceremony released 32 prospective graduates made up of two students from the Doctoral Linguistics program, four students from the Linguistics masters program, 10 students from Indonesian Literature major, a student from Balinese Literature major, two students from the Old Javanese Literature major, four students from English Literature major, two students from Archaeology major, a student from History Study major, three students from Japanese Literature major, and three students from the Cultural Anthropology major, as stated by Dr. I Gede Oeinada, S.S., M.Hum. as the Vice Dean I in his report.
Dr. Ni Ketut Puji Astiti Laksmi, S.S., M.Si. as the Vice Dean III announced as the best graduate students, such as: Ni Kadek Sakura Julia, S.S. from Bachelor of Japanese Literature with the cumlaude predicate, Kadek Katarina Dewi Kurniawati, S.Pd., M.Hum. from the Master Linguistics program, achieved with very satisfactory and Dr. Komang Tri Sutrisna Agustia, S.S., M.Hum. from the Doctoral Linguistics program who graduated with the cumlaude predicate.
Ni Kadek Sakura Julia, S.S. gave her speech, as the representative of the best prospective graduates. She expressed her thoughts during her studies in the Bachelor of Japanese Literature at Udayana University. Her time in the program was described as something worthwhile. “I did not only study Japanese Language, but also understanding the culture, discipline values, and a varied way of thinking,” she stated in her speech. She gave an appreciation to all lecturers who taught and guided up until this releasing ceremony. A message to the faculty closed her statement: to carry on producing quality graduates as well as to be a pleasant space for students to learn, develop, and reach their dreams.
The 176th Release of Prospective Graduates of the Faculty of Humanities was closed by a speech from Dr. I Gede Oeinada, S.S., M.Hum. as Vice Dean I, who congratulated the prospective graduates for their achievements. Congratulations was also offered to the parents and families of the prospective graduates with their constant support during studies. In regards to the release ceremony on July 2, 2026, he conveyed an appreciation to all parties involved, as well as apologies for any inconvenience. He closed the event by asking the prospective graduates to assist the faculty by filling out tracer study questionnaires in order to help the faculty reaching the target of IKU.
