The Bachelor of History Wins First Place in the Futsal Category at the 2026 Faculty of Humanities' Student Sports Week with a Dominant Performance

Denpasar, June 14, 2026 – The Bachelor of History Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University won the futsal championship on the 2026 Faculty of Humanities’ Student Sports Week (POM). The title was achieved after the Bachelor of  Futsal Team defeated the Bachelor of English Literature in the final with a convincing score of 3–0.. The 2026 Faculty of Humanities’ Student Sports Week  POM futsal competition was held at the My Stadium Futsal Arena, Denpasar, on June 13–14, 2026. Eight teams representing all study programs within the Faculty of Humanities Udayana University participated in this sport.

Since the preliminary round, the Bachelor of History has consistently performed and demonstrated a dominant performance. In the three preliminary round matches, the History Study Program Futsal Team secured three wins. Their biggest victory came against the Indonesian Literature Study Program, with a landslide score of 7–0. In the final, the Bachelor of History again demonstrated solid performance, securing a 3–0 victory over the Bachelor of English Literature. This result secured the History Study Program the title of futsal champion at the 2026 Faculty of Humanities’ Student Sports Week. Meanwhile, the Bachelor of English Literature had to settle for second place. In the third-place match, the Bachelor of Archaeology defeated the Bachelor of Japanese Literature 4–0 to secure third place in futsal.

The Faculty of Humanities Student Sports Week is a series of competitions and competitions organized by the Student Senate of the Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University. This activity aims to accommodate the interests and talents of Faculty of Humanities Udayana University students in sports and student competitions. At the 2026 Faculty of Humanities Student Sports Week , ten sports and competitions were contested. All study programs at Udayana University participated by sending their respective contingents. Futsal was the final sport to be contested after the other nine sports had completed their competitions.

Despite winning the futsal event, the History Study Program still finished third in the final standings of the 2026 Faculty of Humanities Student Sports Week, calculated based on the accumulated points earned from all sports and competitions. Second place went to the Bachelor of Japanese Literature, meanwhile the Bachelor of English Literature maintained its position at the top of the 2026 Faculty of Humanities Student Sports Week.
