Denpasar – The journey of the 2026 Mahadayana (Udayana Humanities Students) continued through the second day of the Introduction to Campus Life for New Students of the Faculty of Humanities (PKKMB FIB) 2026. The second day, which also served as the conclusion of the orientation, focused on consolidating the identity and solidarity of the Mahadayana, encompassing a physical introduction to the FIB Nias campus, mapping the direction of student interests and talents, and culminating in the official inauguration. This activity took place at the FIB Nias campus area on Friday, August 7, 2026, and was attended by all 2026 Mahadayana students.

Kicking off the second day, the 2026 Mahadayana were invited to delve into the historical roots and comprehensive facilities through a physical exploration of the FIB Nias campus environment. During the campus tour, students were introduced to a row of iconic buildings that serve as the lifeblood of the faculty. These included the Dr. R. Goris Building as the center for undergraduate lectures, the Prof. Dr. I Gusti Ngurah Bagus Building which houses the Udayana Lontar Unit (ULU), and the Prof. Dr. R.M. Ng. Poerbatjaraka Building as the postgraduate center and secretariat for student organizations. This exploration culminated at the Prof. Dr. Ida Bagus Mantra Building, which operates as the academic administration center, complete with the Widya Sabha Mandala Auditorium as the epicenter of faculty activities, as well as other supporting facilities such as the canteen and parking area.

After getting a closer look at the campus infrastructure and academic atmosphere, the focus of the 2026 Mahadayana was then directed toward non-academic activities through the introduction session of the Student Activity Units (UKM). This session was presented as a compass for new students to map out their interests and talents during their studies.

The agenda continued with a presentation of the nine work programs of the Student Senate (SM) of FIB Unud. The introduced programs included the FIB Student Sports Week as an inter-study program sports competition, and Jegeg Bagus FIB to scout student representatives at the university level. As a manifestation of community service, the Bakti Tri Hita Karana program and the Berfijar teaching program, which targets underserved schools, were also presented. Additionally, there was Cultural Reincarnation, focusing on preserving traditions through student competitions; a merchandise procurement initiative through Humanities Apparel; and Food Frolic Festive as a platform for talent showcases and fundraising. This introductory series concluded with a presentation on the agenda for student participation in the Unud Anniversary Sports and Arts Week (Porseni) and the peak celebration of the faculty's anniversary through the FIB Family Body (BKFIB).

The introduction to these non-academic elements was then lightened during a break session, where the committee played interactive videos from clusters 6–10 as a form of appreciation for the creativity of the Mahadayana.

Moving on from the previous agenda, the students' attention was redirected to a material presentation regarding the dynamics of student organizations. The session, guided by moderator Gabariella Maulosi Ambarita, featured the former Chairperson of SM FIB Unud for the 2025 period, I Nyoman Trikasudha Gamayana, S.S., as the speaker. Through his presentation, he comprehensively dissected the essence and benefits of organizational involvement, which includes the development of soft skills, time management abilities, and the expansion of alumni networks. Furthermore, the speaker provided a critical review of seniority culture, convoluted thinking, and the execution of programs that are merely ceremonial with minimal actual movement. As a proposed solution, students were encouraged to actualize a form of "progressive organization," described as being collective, structurally organized yet flexible, open to criticism, and brave enough to take a dominant role as an advocacy platform for various social issues within the campus environment and the nation.

After absorbing deep insights into organizational dynamics, the atmosphere of the event instantly became highly festive as it entered the cheering (chanting) performance session. Each cluster showcased their best chants, which they had prepared with full enthusiasm and energy. The roaring cheers and unity echoing throughout the venue not only successfully ignited the participants' spirits but also served as a tangible representation of the strong sense of solidarity and togetherness that had been built among the new students in each cluster.

Entering the peak closing series of PKKMB FIB 2026 at the Widya Sabha Mandala Auditorium, the Chief Organizer of PKKMB FIB 2026, I Komang Dalem Arta Wiguna, delivered his closing report. He affirmed that the event, themed "Scholarly Steps to Illuminate Civilization" and held on August 6–7, 2026, had successfully served as a gateway to introduce the campus and its ecosystem to 460 new students and 16 continuing students. Concluding his report, appreciation was extended to the Dean's ranks, accompanied by the philosophical message of paras-paros sarpanaya (mutual respect and togetherness), hoping that the spirit of mutual appreciation and unity will always be the breath of the FIB Unud student movement moving forward.

As the climax of the event and the marker of the end of the entire orientation series, a symbolic closing was carried out through a procession of removing the name tags of the new student representatives. This removal was performed directly by the Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Information, Dr. Ni Ketut Puji Astiti Laksmi, S.S., M.Si., accompanied by the Vice Dean for Academic and Planning Affairs, Dr. I Gede Oeinada, S.S., M.Hum., the General Chairperson of PKKMB FIB 2026, Taufik Agus Purnomo, S.Pd., M.A., as well as representatives of SM FIB and BPM FIB. After the representative procession took place on stage, all the 2026 Mahadayana simultaneously removed their respective name tags; an emotional moment validating their transitional step into becoming an integral part of the extended student family of the Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University.

Following the official closing, the atmosphere inside the auditorium was instantly filled with celebratory euphoria through the awarding of appreciation to the winning clusters. Roars of pride echoed as a tribute to the dedication, sportsmanship, and teamwork demonstrated by the new students. The second day's series of events was then perfected through the penguningan ceremony as the peak of the 2026 Mahadayana's togetherness, simultaneously affirming their readiness to synergize under the single umbrella of their proud identity at the Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University.
