The Faculty of Humanities Organize Internal Quality Audit 2025 to Improve Faculty Quality Assurance
The Faculty of Humanities at Udayana University conducted an Internal Quality Audit on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, in the Priyono Room, Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University, as part of its commitment to improving the quality of education. This activity was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, vice deans, heads of the bachelor's, master's, doctoral programs, including their teams of quality assurance. The Internal Quality Audit activity involved the Dean and his vice deans as part of the Program Management Unit, as well as the heads of the departments, master, and doctoral programs to ensure the quality of education, research, and faculty management. During the Internal Quality Audit process, the auditors, as the party conducting an objective assessment of quality standards, examined the completeness of documents and performance reports, research data, and community service.
Auditors also provided recommendations for improvement and development measures to ensure that the quality standards of the faculty and all study programs continue to improve. However, auditees provided data, information, and supporting evidence during the audit process. The Dean and Coordinator study programs presented their achievements, challenges, and follow-up plans to improve the quality of academic services. Then, in its implementation, internal quality auditors reviewed various aspects, such as the curriculum, learning processes, research achievements, community service, and administrative management. The Internal Quality Audit aims to ensure that every study program within the Faculty of Humanities Udayana University meets the quality standards set by the university and the Accreditation Institution.
The Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, Prof. I Nyoman Aryawibawa, S.S., M.A., Ph.D., emphasized the importance of Internal Quality Audit as a strategic step in preparing the faculty for accreditation and maintaining its academic reputation. “We are committed to continuously improving the quality of education so that our graduates are highly competitive at the national and international levels,” he said. In addition to document evaluation, this activity also served as a forum for discussion between auditors and program administrators to formulate continuous improvements. The audit results will become the basis for recommendations for curriculum development, improvement of the quality of lecturers and students, and management improvements. With the implementation of Internal Quality Audit, the Faculty of Humanities at Udayana University is expected to strengthen its culture of quality and create a more professional, transparent, and accountable academic environment.
