The Student Senate of FIB Unud Holds a Closing Ceremony of POM SMFIB 2025
On Saturday, June 14, 2025, the Grand Closing of the 2025 SMFIB Student Sports Week (POM) was held at the Widya Sabha Mandala Auditorium, Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University. This Grand Closing activity was an agenda that closed the series of activities of the 2025 SMFIB Student Sports Week (POM), which started from May 17, 2025 until June 14, 2025. This event was attended by the vice dean, the chairman of the committee, the chairman of the Student Senate, the heads of the eight (8) study programs associations in the Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University, the winners of 11 sports branches, and students of the Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University.
The Head of the Committee, I Ketut Daniel Dwijasana reported that the series of Student Sports Week (POM) SMFIB 2025 had been prepared for 3 months from April 2025, with the first series of activities began on May 17, 2025. The Head of the FIB Unud Student Senate, I Nyoman Trikasudha Gamayana also emphasized the importance of the Student Sports Week (POM) activities as a form of balance between academic activities (as part of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education) and with non-academic activities, especially in the field of exploring interests, talents, and achievements. He hopes that this activity will be able to explore the potential interests and talents and continue to be developed in the future.
The closing ceremony was continued by remarks from the Vice Dean III for Student Affairs and Information, Dr. Ni Ketut Puji Astiti Laksmi, S.S., M.Si. In her remarks, she appreciated all the committees, participants, officials, managers, supporters, and all parties who had given their best efforts in making the series of activities of the 2025 SMFIB Student Sports Week (POM). She also appreciated the series of activities of the 2025 SMFIB Student Sports Week (POM), which had been carried out successfully amidst efficiency. Furthermore, the Grand Closing activity was filled with the given of prizes and awards to the champions of the 11 sports branches that were carried out during the series of activities of the 2025 SMFIB Student Sports Week (POM).
The eleven sports branches were Pro Evolution Soccer, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Table Tennis, Chess, Vocal Solo, Badminton, PUBG Mobile, Billiards, Basketball, Futsal, and Tekken 8. The special awards were given to the Top Scorer of the Futsal match, as well as the Best Supporters. The awarding of prizes was accompanied by performances including, Sa'sings from the English Literature study program, Club Yosakoi's performance from the Japanese Literature study program, and vocal duets from the English and Japanese Literature study programs. The Grand Closing of POM SMFIB 2025 was officially closed with the awarding of the rotating trophy to the English Literature study program as the grand champion, as well as the withdrawal of Kayon by the vice Dean III, accompanied by the Chairperson of the Committee, Head of SMFIB, and representatives of BPM FIB Unud. In the future, such activities with the theme "Harmony" are hoped not only to be implemented now, but also be implemented in everyday campus life in order to create an inclusive, warm, and brotherlihood campus life (FDA).
