Workshop on Finalizing the Course Lesson Plan and Monev of Course Learning Outcomes for the Bachelor of Japanese Literature Udayana University in Preparation for IAPS 5.1 Accreditation
Denpasar, March 11–12, 2026 – The Bachelor of Japanese Literature held a workshop on the preparation of the Lesson Plans and Monitoring and Evaluation of Graduate Learning Outcomes Curriculum Document as part of the process to compile supporting documents for IAPS 5.1 accreditation by BAN-PT. The two-day events took place in the Priyono Room at the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Udayana University, and featured a Keynote speaker: Dr. Haryono, S.S., M.Pd., BAN-PT assessor from Jenderal Soedirman University. The workshop aims to ensure that curriculum documents and learning evaluation materials were ready to be submitted to the LKPS and LED. The workshop conducted to ensure that the Course Lesson Plan for all courses and the Program’s CPL Monitoring and Evaluation were complete, consistent, and in accordance with BAN-PT standards, particularly regarding learning and curriculum criteria. The activity also strengthened lecturers’ understanding of the OBE-based Lesson Plan format and the mechanism for monitoring graduate learning outcomes equivalent to JLPT N3.
On the first day of the event, Wednesday, March 11, 2026, the workshop began with an opening session led by the First Vice Dean, Dr. I Gede Oeinada, S.S., M.Hum. and accompanied by the Coordinator of Bachelor of Japanese Literature Study Program, Dr. Silvia Damayanti, S.S., M.Hum. The Keynote speaker, Dr. Haryono, S.S., M.Pd. through hybrid presented in detail the key components in the development of the Course Lesson Plans, particularly regarding the alignment between Course Learning Outcomes, course content, teaching methods, and assessment systems to ensure a shared understanding of the IAPS 5.1 accreditation criteria. During this session, the faculty members also engaged in intensive discussions to ensure that every required course has a structured RPS aligned with the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) approach. Furthermore, on the second day, Thursday, March 12, 2026, the activities focused on the development and evaluation of the Monitoring and Evaluation documents for Course Learning Outcomes of the Bachelor of Japanese Literature. With guidance from experts, workshop participants reviewed the mechanisms for measuring the achievement of Course Learning Outcomes integrated with graduate competency standards, including Japanese language proficiency targets equivalent to the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N3 level. This process was conducted through group discussions and a review of previously drafted documents.
Through this workshop, the Bachelor of Japanese Literature Faculty of Humanities Udayana University, hopes that all supporting documents for the curriculum, course Lesson Plan, and Course Learning Outcome monitoring and evaluation can be systematically organized and meet national accreditation standards. The finalized documents will be attached to the Program Performance Report and the Self-Evaluation Report as part of the process of applying for IAPS 5.1 accreditation from BAN-PT. Additionally, this activity is expected to further strengthen the Bachelor of Japanese Literature’s commitment to continuously improving the quality of learning and academic governance.
