The Development Planning Meeting of the Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University: A Strategic Forum for Formulating Policy Directions, Work Programs, and Budget Allocations for the Faculty

The Faculty of Humanities Udayana University held a Development Planning Meeting (Musrenbang) on Thursday, July 16, 2026, in the Soekarno Room. The event conducted from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. WITA and provided a strategic forum for formulating policy directions, working programs, and the allocation of the faculty’s budget for 2027. The event was led by the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities at Udayana University, Prof. I Nyoman Aryawibawa, S.S., M.A., Ph.D. and was accompanied by the Vice  Dean I, Dr. I Gede Oenada, S.S., M.Hum. and Prof. Dr. Dra. Ni Ketut Ratna Erawati, M.Hum. as the Vice Dean II for General Affairs and Finance. In addition, the event was attended by all Study Program Coordinators, Head of Administrative, Head of Senate, Sub-Coordinators, and Unit Coordinators within the Faculty of Humanities. During the meeting, it was also announced that the budget allocation had been approved by the Senate as the basis for developing work programs in each unit.

In its strategic planning discussions, the Faculty of Humanities has identified a number of priority programs focused on strengthening digital transformation and improving academic governance. Information system development will continue on an ongoing basis through the implementation of SIPERJAKA in 2024, SIRERU in 2025 to support exam administration, and the development of SICAKI in 2026 as part of efforts to strengthen the faculty’s service and management systems, along with plans for the continued enhancement of system development in 2027. In addition, internationalization programs remain a priority, with a focus on strengthening three degree programs aims to enhance global competitiveness such as: Bachelor pf Indonesian Literature,  Bachelor pf English Literature and  Bachelor pf Japanese Literature.

The Development Planning Meeting also highlighted various strategic achievements of the Faculty of Humanities. Among these were the successful establishment of the Integrity Zone (ZI), which has been approved at the Ministry of Higher Education level, as well as progress on the launch of the French Language Study Program, which has received a recommendation from the central team and has been submitted in the form of a proposal. These achievements are expected to further strengthen the quality of governance, academic services, and institutional development within the faculty.

As part of the 2027 budget planning, the budget allocations for various areas were presented, including: budgets for research and community service, operational activities, IPI, business units, collaborations, and budget allocations for all study programs in the Faculty of Humanities. Through this meeting, the Faculty of Humanities Udayana University reaffirmed its commitment to realizing participatory and accountable planning that aligns with the faculty’s development vision to support improvements in the quality of education, research, community service, and collaborations at both the national and international levels.
